Aluminium: the material of the future

These days, it’s hard to imagine daily life without aluminium. Both in consumer products and industrial applications. The material is highly resistant to oxidisation and corrosion, is lightweight, strong, non-sparking, weldable and malleable, sustainable and recyclable. Have you got an idea for a component, a semi-finished or finished product made from (sustainable) aluminium or a question about the applicability and the sustainable properties of the Material?

The DAA would like to help you seek solutions! The members of the DAA represent the chain of producing, trading and processing companies and are THE specialists in the field of aluminium. They work in many different sectors and market segments; each company has its own specialism and has a great deal of knowledge and know-how in its professional field. From precision components to large load-bearing structures; if it’s made from Aluminium, the DAA is the place to be!

Aluminium for industrial applications

Because of the distinctive properties of the material, aluminium is also used a great deal in industrial applications. This is partly attributable to the fact that the material is fully available on the market and because it is very sustainable due to its good recyclability. You can see a few examples of this in the photos below.

Aluminium in all shapes and sizes!

Aluminium has a good strength / weight ratio, is dimensionally stable, non-sparking and weldable. Therefore it is also often used for larger products.

The materials high resistance to oxidisation and corrosion makes aluminium a widely used material in sectors or applications where the material is frequently or continuously exposed to weather influences and salt or fresh water.
